Wow. . .what a drawing to make for what waits just around the corner.

Great job with the expressions.  The seriousness of this upcoming episode is killing me.  Dipper's off doing research with Ford and Mabel's sad over the end of summer.  It's very heart-wrenching and symbolic, how Dipper's candle is lit but Mabel's has burnt out.  Will the joyful girl we know and love lose her flame in this episode?  Worst of all, will Dipper lose his sister?  Will they realize how much they mean to each other before it's too late?

And the biggest question of all: who is the one who will get stupid?  Will it be the boy who is so driven by his desire for answers that he neglects his beloved twin?  Or will it be the girl who is so afraid of losing her beloved twin that she allows her fear to consume and destroy her faith?

The rift is cracking, and something tells me Dipper and Mabel's situation can't just be a coincidence.  Could Bill have a part to play here?  Is dividing Dipper and Mabel part of his sinister scheme?

Ready or not, the future will come.
