I wanted to practice coloring with colored pencils again since its been a while, and what better then to color one of Shelby's amazing artwork!! Took me about 6 hours on and off. I love how the lighting turned out and the fire looks decent!! i suck at drawing/coloring fire I gave their baby a more salmon/peach color since in my mind Natsu's pink would be balanced out by Lucy's blonde. And now on to the part where I suffered. The scales. those freaking scales. I decided to be fancy and use 3 different types of reds. And holy shit there are so many of them!! It took me 2 hours just coloring them in, nevertheless drawing them!! Give that woman a fricken award!!! She had to draw every single one of them!! AND ON ALL OF HER PAGES AND FANARTS AND- you are freaking amazing Shelby. Like wow
