Description I went to the Burton MoMA exhibit this weekend (AMAZING!) and drew this back at the hotel. It's not based on any of his characters, just inspired by his style.

Ball point pen on hotel stationery.

Haha good to see another fan of Tim that was inspired to doodle Burtonesque stuff after seeing the MoMA show~ It sure was an awesome show wasn't it!? So much so that I went to see it TWICE.

I think the Emblem on the paper really gives it a certain punch ;D

LOL

Didn't they have one in Boston as well? That's what one of my Friends said.

As far as I know, this exhibit was made exclusively for and at the MoMA. You seriously need to take a trip up to NY to see it... amazing amazing AMAZING. [link]

It's not just his artwork on display either, there's a lot of props and stuff from the films. Like Sweeney's razors, the wonka puppets that catch on fire, the headless horseman's cape, batman's mask, catwoman's costume, a life size wax figure of edward scissorhands that looks SOOO real you'd swear it was Johnny Depp standing there... All of the actual puppets from NBC and the corpse bride... So freaking amazing.

lol oh yeah you're in conn, right? Everything is north of me, so it's just my default directional sense hahaha

but yeah, go, you'll have a blast. I suggest you get your tickets online, you get to just walk right in. There was a 45 minute wait for everyone else.
