Description The blossoms of a type of maple tree that's quite common around here. We don't usually think of maple trees as having blossoms since they're so well-known for their oddly-shaped leaves or otherwise the wing nuts, and because the flowers themselves are quite small and don't last long. However, if one can get close enough, they are quite lovely as well.
