Description Taken at a garden centre, not the one I work at because I wasn't working there at the time. Besides, even if I was, you can't really be taking photos on the job, you know, customers and what not.

I remember my grandma's neighbor telling me that the amount of alkaline in the soil is what gives hydrangeas their color.

Yup! Acidity makes them blue and alkaline makes them pink! Both makes them purple and none makes them white!

In England they have them all over in all different shades and hues of pink, purple, and blue!
