Attempted a more dramatic light source by using her crystal ball thingy. I think I could of done a better job on the fur... But I like the petrified wood look of her staff. 8D

Aw, I love this. The small amount of light kind of makes it feel like she's just appearing from nothing, very dramatic looking. A thought on the fur, since you said you had troubles, start off by painting it dark and then gradually pull out lightened spikes along the edges, it'll make it feel more 3-D. For the rest of the piece the light hugs it in all the right places so no problems there ^_^. Good job and sorry it took so long to get around to commenting

That's the look I was going for since I imagined her as a shaman navigating the spirit world. These lines (and all the rest of your 100 Theme) really are inspiring.
I've never thought about trying it that way... Thank you for the advice! I'm definitely going to try that the next time I try fur. And then come back to this piece and do the trim the right way.

Very dramatic. The light doesn't seem very realistic on the fur, maybe if you had made the shadow edges jagged, such as in the nature of furry things it would work better. Love the attention to the shadows on the face. Overall it's very dramatic, but not too overpowering. ^_^
