Thanks for checking out my DUCATI Motorcycle Portrait. I initially did this portrait for a friend of mine that I work with. It is his bike. I stumbled across it one day, heading out to the parking lot after work. I snapped a few shots from the back end (which I thought was the coolest looking view of the bike), and I just did the print. My friend decided he didn't want to buy it after all, so now is your chance... I am finally putting up all my motorcycle work in the PRINTS FOR SALE area of my gallery, so please take a look around. Well, of course, the rest of your gallery is awesome.
I really like the Ducati pic, but, I like the "Red Indian" pic even better.
Your transitions between color shapes are so subtle... It shows patience and determination to have transitions like that.
And, the same patience you use in your transitions comes through in your realization of texture and opacity.
The leather fringe is done especially well in "Red Indian".
In other images, you capture the semi-transparency of the brake lights and blinkers amazingly.
The pic of your son, and the one with Taro the dog are nowhere near the quality and photorealism of your vehicle pics. Not that they're bad in any way... they just pale in comparison.
I'm not sure if it's because they're comprised of more organic shapes, or perhaps it's because they're earlier pieces.
Either way... I hope this gives you a good idea of what appeals to me and what doesn't. You're a great vector artist, and very inspirational.

Wow man! Thanks for the honest critique. I appreciate the comments. Not too many people will honestly tell me what they feel. And to tell you the truth, I am not that happy with the portrait of my son either. I am just not good at faces. I much prefer the bikes!

My pleasure... It isn't often that people ask me for honest critique, and actually mean it. Usually, if I give my honest opinion on a piece, the creator will get offended.
So, now, I have to ask you to critique my gallery in a similar fashion!
I consider myself an amateur vector artist and an accomplished traditional artist.
I'm always trying to learn and improve my art, and would really love some constructive feedback.

they are all great .
the ducati is my favourite, probably because i just dont like choppers 
check out my works, i got bikes and cars, but nothing digital yet. Hope you like it.

eventually, more sports bikes will be on their way... I just have this whole "Chopper Thing" going on right now... and I am loving it, so, like I said, EVENTUALLY there will be more sports bikes. I have gotten a lot of positive feedback from the Ducati Portrait, so there is obviously a lot more potential there... in due time. Thanks for the feedback on this print. YES, Seriously, ALL VECTOR ART.

COMPLETELY, SERIOUSLY ALL VECTOR. In my work there is No Gradients. No Filters. No Special Effects and... definitely, NO PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE FINAL ART. Just me and my trusty Pen Tool.
