Description
This is a redraw of this piece [peofun1.deviantart.com/art/Sca… ], which I originally drew in 2008. I was really happy with the original drawing at the time, but after seven years I decided to revisit this.
So this is my interpretation of the original SkyClan cats who were driven out of the forest in the prologue to Firestar’s Quest. Pictured from left to right in the top pic are Fernpelt, Buzzardtail, Birdflight, Cloudstar, Oakpaw, Nightfur, Fawnstep and Mousefang. In the background are Redstar,Dawnstar, Birchstar and Swiftstar, the leaders who drove SkyClan out.
For this drawing I chose to leave out Rainfur (as he doesn’t die until much later, when Firestar is rebuilding SkyClan) so I could move Fernpelt over there instead.

I really enjoyed looking back at this piece and seeing what I could improve on! Perhaps in another couple years I'll come back and redraw this again, but for now I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not very active on DA anymore, but because the original was posted here I figured I should post the redraw here as well.
