No one is a failure, sometimes people get partial to what they put together and have a hard time taking things apart to make things better; because they worked so hard to get what they got so far and don't know if they should get rid of something to make it better or add on to improve. Sometimes it takes others longer to plan out their next move or the move executed on doesn't improve things. But that is why there are multiple experiments. Ultimately we are all working for better solutions and future's. Someday our paper airplane will evolve into our wings of success.
