History: Many years ago, Team Galactic captured the Lake Guardians consisting of Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf for devious purposes. However, with the help of a couple of brave trainers, their plans were halted and the trio was once again free. They traveled with the two trainers and later on found a mysterious island. Drawn by the island's secrets, the three decided to reside there, settling on a mountainous area with a lake which reminded them of their own respective lakes back in Sinnoh. They called the place the Arcane Area.

Despite her fascination with the place, Mignonette, the Mesprit, still longs for her home in Lake Verity. She knows, however, that she cannot return soon as she has duties as Area Keeper and Healer of the place. She spends her days in solitude, sleeping for most of the night until morning and making rounds, tending to those in need of healing and help when she awakes. In her spare time she goes to a secluded spot near the lake and writes in her diary.

Legend has it that it was through Mesprit's intervention the human heart was endowed with emotions. However, those who touch Mesprit will have their emotions completely drained away after three days. As such, Mignonette is wary around others and does not stay around them for too long. The only other Pokemon who she allows to touch her are the other two guardians, Uxie and Azelf. Sometimes the lack of close interaction with other Pokemon makes Mignonette quite lonely, however, Mignonette reasons that it's better to be lonely than to wipe out the emotions of others. Still, even thought she knows it is close to impossible, she dreams of meeting someone who she will be able to touch.

Personality: Mignonette is very emotional but she tries her best to hide them by maintaining an expressionless face. She lets her guard down around people she trusts, and people are often surprised to see her display emotions for the first time. Mignonette tries her best to help everyone around her, as long as it doesn't involve her touching them. She falls asleep at random intervals, though, and that could pose a problem especially when it happens while she's working. When she wakes up she gets very cranky and snappy, and doesn't attempt to hide the annoyance from her face.

Likes: Sleeping(!!!), napping, dozing off, pillows, beds.
Dislikes: Getting rudely woken up, loud noises, slimy things.
