It's quite easy to skin scrollbar. There are 3 files:
scrollUp.png
scrollDown.png
scrollBack.png
and a section in style.qss file to configure them. Use my LPKB as a template. I'm sure you'll do it.

yeah I figured that out but trying to alpha out scrollback.png nothing really happened (guess it's because the thing that scrolls isn't really scrollback.png) I managed to remove scrollup quiteeasily, I couldn't by increasing the width of the scrolldown button by modding scrolldown.png and scrolldown in the .qss

get the picture? no scrollup image, no scrollbar and a scroldown button that covers the entirewidth of the drop down menu

I'm not sure I understand. Do you wan't to remove scrollbar or make it horizontal? The diagram is illegible for me.

ok sorry, yeah I guess you can hide it

[link] as in noscrollbar and no scroll up button and one really wide scrolldown button (whichwill disapear when scrolled all the way down (of secondary importance since I saw noway of fixing / scripting it)

I think you cant do this. It's a limitation of Launchy. Only developer can change it.
