Hi, I decided to share a concept sketch - usually I don't upload these anywhere, as they tend to be messy and quick (I pay less attention to anatomy/correctness and more to design,) but I liked this one in particular.
This is my character, Feyel, a purple and blue hydrangea; she is the high priestess of the sky god Zephyr at the time of the first book in my story, which I'm slowly working on.
She's timid, but very sweet tempered, gracious, and careful. Followers of Zephyr tend to be very well-mannered and generous. She is also very short and petite - under 5 feet/152cm.
I hope to draw the concept sketch for her older brother, the oracle of the sky god, soon. Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers, so you will probably see a lot of them both!
