Honestly...I had no intentions of making this red, white, and blue right before the 4th of July. In fact, the person I did this for isn't even in this country....she's BrazilianThis an art trade for the beautiful . And this is her lovely character, Kaeli. Her character actually isn't a star breather, I just liked the title
. Kaeli is the keeper to the gates of other dimensions. Kaeli actually means keeper of the key. Although she has this beautiful gift, she is burdened with isolation and becomes very lonely. Her character is very sad, but unfortunately I don't feel I captured that. I actually think I was leaning towards how powerful she becomes when opening another door to another world. Also, I believe her character doesn't get to choose when she wants to open the portal and that explains her being lonely. I really liked her character and it was privilege to paint her.Um...as to the actual painting and errors and so forth. I know the lighting is off and maybe the position isn't anatomical correct, but frankly...I don't care. I like it the way it is and there is very few paintings that I have submitted that I actually like. I had a blast painting the color combination and her character's abilities were fun to draw as well. I think it's a bit overdone, but I don't think I'd change it. So yeah, I'm a little happy about this one. Hope Aeryael likes it too.

Monday -Friday start at around 9ish ; finish: mon-thurs = 2ish, friday=1ish but there is some times in between. It is ok if you cant have one at main, it will save you oddles of gas + money. i'll just have to go to your house or vice-versa or meet up somewhere to give you your other stuff and etc.

Wow. My favourite of your works. The red energy flowing from her finger tips is very well painted. It's not easy to give a shining smooth effect without making it looks noob. And this star background is great too! You must have spent a lot of time on this piece... Congratulations.

Ooooooohhhh!!! I'm SO happy now!!!! I'm amazed of how cool is the way you did her! I love it so much because it's like you developed her more... some things on her pose are a little similar to the pose I'm doing on Tanazia! 
I love so much things you've done here. I love the way you did her hair... and that's right, I didn't change her at all
I love how you gave her a frosty look somehow, I think it's because of the white sparkling powder-like color around her eyes... and the star-breathing thing. And I love the incandescent fingers and the designs you used. And the colors (I don't think she looks like wonder-woman but I laughed at the idea
Also, I think she looks a bit like an indian woman, something about her features... and I love that too! Looks mystic!

Darling, DA doesn't do much in terms of distortion. Usually we think it's been distorted because we've never viewed our images far way, i.e. shrinked. Hence zoom in and out constantly during painting process to get an overall look of the image.
Color difference could be due to the different color settings in photoshop or whatever painting programe you are using.
Anyways, you've brought out her power and strength very well. Kudos
Generally speaking, for anatomy you just need to shrink the head a bit. Cover up the head, it's fine.
I like your choice of colors, very strong in contrast. But I think it'll be good to have a few more bright colors on her face or cloths, because that red in her hand is stealing all the glory from her.

Photoshop? Have you noticed the kind of brushes *heise and her worshippers use? The size 19 brush that has a hard edge, but a soft blending. Try that.
