Did you have actual cakes you were looking at for designing these, or did you make them all up? Β My favourites are the chocolate one with flowers and the wedding cake with lilies next to it ^_^

Thank you! Yes, she had picked out 15 cakes and cupcakes her mother had made and asked me to recreate those. Once they get to her mother, I will do a side by side comparison of the cakes. I just didn't want her to possibly find them and ruin the surprise.

Have you ever think about making real cakes? You're so skilled that in my personal opinion every confectionery may welcomed you with open arms. Oh my... That mom cake, princess cake, bunny cake, not mentioned cakes with flowers... Whoah.

Thank you! I actually was going to be a pastry chef before I switched career tracks. I still can't decorate a cake to save my life though. lol I just don't have the patience for it. Maybe I could get away with doing the little gum paste decorations but that's it.
