It might get me flack for being a ‘crackshipper’, but... genuinely since Return of the Roar came out, I’ve been like “you know what would be really cute?” And since Mzingo is a good guy now....

I’m extremely fond of ships between characters who are similar to each other! Always appealed to me more than opposites attracting, y’know? And Mzingo—though not a clone or anything—was basically Janja’s Zazu in the early days of TLG. Plus, Zazu and Mzingo are both snarky, dignified, and sophisticated. I imagine that courtship would be very slow, which is why they’re pictured here as pretty elderly fellas They're two slightly prickly individuals who would have to become friends, fall in love, and one of them decide to move territories (probably Zazu, since Mzingo has a parliament to lead). But they would get there eventually
