FRankly 70's PAcino I can picture as Crane,Dent, or possibly Bruce.....90's Pacino it's just Joker
To steal from Welcome To The Basement ,he's in the normal actor who became weird category (Other members are Christopher Walken ,Nick Cage,Jeff Goldblum, and John Malkovich....Or as I call them the best super hero team ever )
In the words of Anikan:It's wooooooooooorrrrking,it's workkkkkkkkkkkkinnnnng
It's reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy purdy
Also just got to the Crows are laughing bit

Only if we can have Lance Henriksen as Batman and Malcolm Mcdowell as Joker
With the Coca Cola can pointed directly at the camera for about 2 minutes it made me want a soda ...I went with Dr Pepper instead of Coke ,but still good attempt at product placement

Well my initial choice was Willem DaFoe ,but he's too young ,and I can think of few actors in their 70's who can do a sinister smile as good as McDowell. He is a king of over the top villains ,dudes got style for days and he can be both funny and terrifying .Plus dude has a lot of energy and in general has a mischevious charm to him (I watched a panel with him and David Warner about Time After Time ...And it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen ,cause it's like watching the goody two shoes older brother with Warner and the hyperactive troublemaking brother with Mcdowell ,and BOTH ARE IN THEIR 70's )

Catch 22 andthe three movies I have seen from John Huston/ Humphrey Bogart are ahead of it (African Queen,Maltese Falcon and Treasure of the Siera Madre or as I call them PRoto Han and Leia The Movie ,The Great McGuffin Hunt , and Humphrey Bogarts Gollum audition ),but it's up there

(Ineed.I have a wesakness for dark comedy and the ending was really hoppeful to me )
Ohhhhh, yeah that sound not fun. There is a way to make a movie where everyone is awful watchable....But I doubt this movie would end with a "Kill Em All" ending

Jackson/Tarentino version www.youtube.com/watch?v=paw_2E…
Thought so .Tarentino has a thing for putting veteren actors in small roles ....PReferbly a lot of them
(I reccomend it , partly cause Pacino as the villain Big Boy and aesthetically I cant think of a movie like it.Like closest I can think of is Tim Burtons Batman ,Popeye starring Robin Williams , and Sin City...But even then not really ,cause it's more outlandish and colorful then Burtons Batman or Popeye*Which is actually a very laid back and down to earth movie........I am not joking....I love the Popeye movie * and unlike Sin City, all the stuff in Dick Tracy is practical . Also there are Stephen Sondheim songs ,cause fuck it ,we have Madonna and Mandy Patankin in our movie, why not let em sing )

When in doubt,refrence Pulp Fiction
You really get the sense he writes roles just so he can work with certain people .Like you feel the excitement
Hope ya enjoy it .Will warn ya, dont try to follow the plot and Tracy himself is a bit dull ,but the film is more about the style above anything else and it is enjoyable (Heck I've watched it more then the other films in the Pulp Super Hero Batman Cash In Adaptations 90's Trilogy...Which was a thing )
