I went GL-happy the other day, and used it to get a Hunter off a friend, but failed to notice the WITCH he was trying to crown. So essentially, we just traded places and I died instead of him.

Funny thing is, I always play as Ellis, and my brother always plays as Nick, and he has a really bad habit of walking in front of me when I'm shooting, so I do occassionally shoot him up kinda badly, every now and then with the grenade launcher.
