So a few years back I started reading the Wings of Fire series as the books were coming out, and for some reason I put the series down some time after the fourth book. Well I've just picked the series back up again and I just finished the latest book and DAMN why did I ever stop reading these??

Anyway here's my favorite character. It took longer than I planned to finish this because UGH backgrounds. I tried adding other rainwings into the background but I didn't like how the colors clashed.
I tried to stay true to the canon design because I love it, but I also felt the need to tweak the wing design because, well, the wing designs kind of bug me. And I'm going to keep drawing the wings my way for my future fanart. I've already got a sketch of Albatross that I plan to color.
