At first, I thought Dawn only wore pantyhose because she was required to wear them for her job. She's a beautiful woman. Her legs in hose take her to another level of beauty - and I think she knows it. So now I believe she actually enjoys wearing pantyhose and the power it gives her to get what she wants. Ironically, what she perceives as her greatest strength is also what makes her the most vulnerable.

I'll have to disagree regarding Dawn's relationship with her leg-wear. They are her foil, the extra hurdle in her day, the unfair and unnecessary challenge added to her adventures that her male counterparts are not forced to overcome. That said, they are an integral and essential part of her adventures, and thus in a way... she is inseparable from them. So, yeah, there is that bond they share.

It's really too bad that Mr O'Neal is so quick to replace Dawn after she's met one of her numerous untimely ends. I doubt any of those new girls would so boldly (and recklessly) trek into the gaping jaws of peril!

Hah, thanks! I'm glad this evokes (and that you spotted) the classic relationship between Dawn Meadows and her gruff editor, Mr O'Neil featured in all of her written stories. She really gets a tough time from him! The new girls are never as bold (or reckless!) as Dawn lol. Perhaps it's the required pantyhose they receive with their new hire paperwork???
