Description Having dealt with a Volks EB beauty with a previous doll, I just couldn't stand her limbs falling apart so I went and got a complete Obitsu doll.

"Amy" is just a placeholder name for her for now. She's my latest face repaint at this time.

Beautiful repaint.

I have a Volks doll, and it's almost impossible to pose her because her limbs don't stay in place. I'm not all that sad they discontinued their custom line, but I did like their heads.

Yup, as much as I hate the limbs falling off, I really like the sculpt though. Having the doll wear a body suit or just letting her lay there seems to help.

A face repaint? I'm pretty intrigued...I'd take a brush to some of my own figures but with my lesser traditional skills and a lack of control-Z in painting, they'd probably end up looking more like a Trollface. XD Nice work on Amy here and the closeup detail of the eyes is especially cool.

It takes some practice. You can practice by butchering some dollar store dolls or Barbie dolls. Just erase their faces and then paint your own version.

Good idea! I'm getting moustache and monocle design ideas for when I start working some butchering magic on some used Barbies.
