The cave expands and gets filled with more pokemon the higher your starter is, so once you reach lvl 100 the cave gets maxed out in once sector. Example, lvl one Bulbasaur- Grass sector will have a few sprouts of grass and a fern. Lvl 40 Blastoise (?) - Water sector gets rocks and shells, bigger beach more squirtle and wartortle(?). Lvl 100 Charizard- Lava lakes, fire, rocks, lava falls, smoke, basically fire.

It's a good contrast between the water, fire and grass areas. It'd be cool if you could expand it to include more types like ice or ground. Although it'd end up being a pretty massive map if you just kept on adding them xD
