Finally it’s been finished!
This Mai is a collaboration between me and my sister Lady Snowblood. The kit is a commission for my sisters’ boyfriend and we both hope, he’ll like it XD
Due to the size of the kit, sanding and puttywork was done by both of us. Same goes for putting on the primer. Preparing, painting and building took more than 7 months -.- Yes, we’re somewhat lazybones.
First I had some concerns about the collaboration going well. But it really DID work and it definitely won’t be the last one, cause it’s been a lot of fun working on the same kit together ^^
Well, the skin is made by myself with airbrush, also the hair and the white huge tie on her back. One of the fans and her face is also done by myself, cause my sister always has some problems with eye-painting *lol* Fan and face are also handpainted by myself.
The rest is completely handpainted by my sister. That goes for the shadings as well, although I doubt their coming out so well on the pictures. Fixing the parts is also done by my sis, cause I hate doing this kind of work on such huge kits *g*
Unfortunately Mais’ ponytail didn’t fit in the exact position like the one on the reference pictures of the PVC. But I think, my sisters’ boyfriend will like her anyway. At least she got nice breasts XD
