So I've been gone for a good while. Decided to jump back into digital painting with a portrait study of one of my favorite film characters - Roy Batty, the primary antagonist of Ridley Scott's 1982 classic Blade Runner, played by Rutger Hauer. I based this drawing off of a screenshot from online, but as you may notice, the photo doesn't show the top part of his hair, so I had to improvise a little with that, based on what his hair looks like in other photos. I think it turned out alright, all things considered. The eyes didn't work out quite right and as hard as I tried, I couldn't really fix them. It's not supposed to be fine art, though – it is just a study after all.
