I wish I had created this piece, which obviously I have not. Its a part of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art. There is so much detail to this piece. The typography with the use of grid lines, gold embellishments, drawings exceeding the boarder of the page with a flower garden to the right. The detailing which has gone to the faces and the clothing is masterly and marvelous. Certainly, its amongst one of the world richest cultures which not allot of people are aware of.

its wonderfully awesome......thsi kind of persian miniature paintings are treat for eyes intricate detailing...hmm...amazing u know in india the rukers who came frm afghanistan, persia and other muslim countries have left their art here so much the place i live has loads of architecture and paintings of such breath taking.......

Aww thanks gorgeous! Its definitely persian minature painting, but I recently found out that the text is in urdu, which would make its origins from Pakistan, but ironically i found it at the Iranian art gallery. Like you said, India, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other close by regions share their artistic abilities, so at the end of the day, they all look alike! lol

yeah u are right but i love miniture paintings so much skill, intricacy, beautiful colors...awesome isnt it......well i think the words in it are not exactly urdu coz i know some of it and i am unable to understand its meaning.....however its wonderful art thanks for sharing
