I can understand most of you don't like Paul because of his rude attitude and the way he treated Chimchar before it joined Ash's team and became Monferno, and then, Infernape. I think if anything, Paul has had somewhat of a change of heart in Pokemon: Ultimate Journeys.

Point is, the one rival I consider the worst of all time is Burgundy! Why? 'Cause ever since Ash first met her, she's done nothing but act like a bully! Calling his status as a trainer the worst, criticizing his Pokemon, and worst of all, carrying a grudge against Cilan!

If I had to choose between finding Paul or Burgundy unlikeable, I'd choose Burgundy.
