really? cardboard works? I always find them rather messy since you can clearly see the precrease I'll try it again though. What actually amazes me is that the precreases in your rose is not so obvious

I find it to work best for this kind of rose.
if you don't make the precreases too deep, they wont show up when it's done. also if you slightly wet your fingers after you've finished shaping and pass them over the creases, they kind of blend in

the roses just need a little bit more shaping, IMO, otherwise they're perfect
