Billy had started school that fall. So, when the first snow came (and it came early that year)and when Mr. Rumple was getting ready for another adventure, Billy said:
- I can't come with you, Mr. Rumple. Not anymore...

I'm guessing he has important things needed for andventuring: A snorkel, if it's an underwater adventure. A rope, if the adventure is on the mountains. And maybe binoculars, if the adventure leads him somewhere far far away...
