Description
It was a dark night at Halfmoon-Stables, pretty dark and there was no moon on the sky, that would light up the meadows. It was already autumn and these were the last days for the horses to stay on the meadows at night. Only a few would stay out all winter, but most of them, especially the warmbloods, would have to go back to the stable.
Viktor and Melody were on their way to the nightmare meadow. Viktor wanted to look after the horses, because Lennard had told him, that Scar had been very nervous today. He just could not go there alone, Scar would simply attack him, if he tried to get close to him.
"Do you think he's ill or something?", Viktor asked with a glance at the owner of this evil Nightmare.
"No, I don't think so...", she answered and shrugged. "Maybe there was something going on on the meadow, a hunt or something... Some deer could have jumped over the fence and they tried to catch it or something..."
Scar would have told her, if he was ill.
When they arrived at the meadow, Viktor looked at the horses with surprise. Three Nightmares, One Undead and - there was another horse. Next to Scar, there stood a huge draft, pale white with a black face, black mane and tale and strange stripes, which were sparkling.
"Who's that?", he asked and raised an eyebrow.
"I have no idea, I've never seen this horse here before...", Melody answered and climbed over the fence to go to Scar. When she reached the dark stallion, his good eye focused her and he looked, as if he was smiling.
'Nice to see you here, but don't you think it's too late and too dark to visit me?', he asked, while the speaking orb orbited her.
"Viktor was worried, because you looked so nervous today...", she answered and stroked his forehead. "Who's your friend?"
'This guy?' Scar looked at the stallion and then looked back to her. 'He IS a friend, we know each other for ages, I met him, when we once had to fight together against strangers about 700 years ago...'
"Now that's a long time... I never knew, that you had so old friends!", she smiled and looked at the stallion herself. "What's his name?", Melody asked. Viktor came closer to the two horses and her and followed her glance. This horse was huge, but very beautiful. Scar observed Viktor, when he stopped next to them.
'We call him Klingsor. He's a Hototo, by the way. Just go to him, he allows you, to touch him.', Scar said and then added, 'Viktor may too', with an unpleased undertone.
