[ Compassionate | Feeling or showing sympathy and concern for others. ] Creon is a wolf who, despite his brutish background, cares deeply for the wellbeing of others physically, emotionally, and mentally. He is willing to put himself in the perspective of others and understand what they feel and why. Creon expresses his kindness in an almost fatherly way and will listen attentively and provide advice and kind words with him almost saying “and if you need anyone to talk to, you know where to find me.” When others are happy, he’s happy.

[ Diligent | Having or showing care and conscientiousness in one's work or duties. ] Having had a hard-working mindset hammered into his mind from an early age, Creon is a man on a mission. When he’s assigned a job, he’ll do it to the best if his abilities until he is told to stop. There’s no point in doing a task unless you give it your all, and Creon holds tightly to that belief. This ideology is only fueled more in the high-stakes environment of Highvalley, where, as a halfblood, he must do ten times the amount of work that a regular Highvallian does in order to receive recognition and praise. This desire to constantly improve and gain approval only fuels his desire to work even harder, possibly even to the breaking point.

[ Open-Minded | Willing to consider new ideas; unprejudiced. ] Unlike his fellow Highvallians, Creon is very open to change and new experiences. He knows that there are other wolves, religions, pack structures, and ideas out in the world and understands that everyone has their own way of living. He won’t judge a wolf based on any of these things and rather their character. He recognizes that Highvalley’s prejudiced ideology is flawed and would perhaps like to change it some day, where perhaps his brethren could learn to accept that there are differences in everyone and that’s okay.

He learned his manners as soon as he could talk, and that the most important rule is that there is a time and place to show your feelings. As a result he is very self-controlled and will not let his emotions influence his actions, rather, his logic and thinking.

He has this constant fear of being judged even more than he is now, and doesn’t want others to get to know the true him. Instead of making an effort to get to know others, he’ll instead just walk away and be alone. At least when he’s alone, no one can judge him.

[ Obsessive | Completely filling one's mind and attention. ] Absolutely hell-bent on proving his worth, Creon will go above and beyond in everything he does. When a regular wolf brings back a rabbit, he’ll bring back a buck. He can and will work until he breaks from the pressure, and once he patches himself up, he’ll repeat the cycle. He fails to realize that sometimes he needs to stop and will constantly make up excuses for him to continue, even if they don’t make any sense. It’s impossible to try and stop him, and one can only watch as he continues with this unhealthy behavior.

[ Pre-Group History ]
Creon’s parents were born worlds apart. His father, Aetius, was third cousin to to the High King Rodwen and born to a brilliant tactician and a revered huntress. His mother, Fifika, on the other hand, was the daughter of two nomads who sought refuge in Highvalley. Both were young when they first met, when Aetius was walking across thin ice on a shallow creek and fell in, with Fifika coming to his rescue. At first he was annoyed by the young she-wolf, who never let him live down how he almost drowned in a few inches of water, but he grew to appreciate her sarcasm and intelligence.
As the two grew, though their responsibilities tried to pull them apart, the two continued their relationship that slowly grew into something much more. Both felt the same way about each other, but it was Fifika that exclaimed her feelings for him first. Things seemed to fall right into place after that, and every day they would meet in secret where blood rank meant nothing to them.
This secrecy could not go on forever, though, and both knew it. Approaching his parents and the High King, he explained that he wished to marry a female of low birth. His parents were shocked and disgusted, with his mother screaming she would disown him if he were ever to go through with this. Rodwen silenced the two and sent them out so he could talk to Aetius alone. Though expressing his disapproval, Rodwen asked Aetius if he, Fifika and their future children were willing to live with the consequences of their actions, and he quietly said yes.
Their wedding was small, as they expected, due to most of the pack refusing to even acknowledge such a disgrace was occurring. Even Aetius’ parents and siblings refused to come, but it was a fact they had to accept now. Only Fifika’s parents and sister really enjoyed the wedding, and they showered the newlyweds with love and acceptance.
Shortly after being wed, Fifika became pregnant. Her pregnancy was average, though she did receive some harsh looks from others as she walked around with her swollen belly. Then, on a particularly humid morning, their sole son was born. He was the spitting image of his mother with her long, dark fur, and two decided on a name: Creon, their little prince.
While Creon was adored by his parents and his mother’s family, he was ostracized by his peers. While there were many pups around when he was young, he was either ignored completely or was beaten up and called disgusting names. Two pups in particular, Ragnor and Gwyn, absolutely loved to use him as a punching bag (physically and emotionally), with one particular event resulting in the scar across the bridge of his nose and a ripped ear that Ragnor inflicted and Gwyn had instigated. There were many times when he would limp back to his den in tears from the ridicule he was faced with.
The only one who was ever truly kind to him was Ava, the daughter of the High King. Instead of being cruel, she was sweet and caring, and was the only one who ever really took the time to get to know him. One day she took him to meet her sister, Sveta, and Creon was hoping she would be just as wonderful as Ava was. But Sveta took one look at him and knew exactly who he was. She refused to acknowledge him as she spoke about him to Ava in third person, and then scoffed and walked off with her tail smacking him in the nose.
Though they promised they would be friends forever, responsibilities tore them apart. Ava began her training at a very early age, and she stopped seeing him less and less, until she eventually just became another face in the crowd. Although heartbroken that his only friend was gone, Creon made the decision he would never let anyone see him cry again. He would be strong for himself, and although he still endured beatings and taunts, he would never let it show that it hurt him. He would prove everyone wrong one day, he would make sure of it.
