Possibly the most sexually drawn lips for a carnivorous plant I ever saw.
It just occurred to me that there might be a total "vegetable" love tragedy that could occur. If on one of the islands there were two varieties of these carnivorous plants, one pinkish and one yellowish. They normally don't grow near each other, but somehow two of them have been seeded in one isolated path on either sides of the path, but have never noticed each other. Barbi or Janet or Captain Drambuie is fleeing and between "Sylla and Caribdis", and both plants turn on the heroine (even Drambuie in this situation becomes a heroine). Both plants when they open their mouths give off a perfume aroma, which causes the individual human or animal that smells it to be unable to move. But if you smell both the human or animal just starts wretching and runs off. However the two plants notice each other's odor, and their tongued heads start moving towards each other across the path. Both are delighted by the other's smell (picture their lips smiling). They head closer and closer, their thick tongues probing for a vegetable version of a "French Kissing" session. The problem is the size of the two tongues. The two flowers close in on each other but suddenly find a) the tongues are so large they can't move the tongues apart and out, and b) the sediments on the two tongues, if mixed together, form a super strong glue that makes even regular attempts at seperation totally impossible. Whoever flees the two is watching the odd love act that seems to be a mutually fatal death struggle. Later on the same heroine in passing the area again sees both plants lying, still tongues together in each other's flowers, both dead.

Wow, interesting concept, there...Would make an interesting comic, and an even better animation sequence...Perhaps give the plants the voices of Gene Simmons and Miley Cyrus...

i like the two voices. To be a bit weirder both could be female voices, especially sexy ladies like Julia Roberts who have mouths to die for.
