Description
This is something i have been trying to work on in my spare time . I wanted to do a beach originally then i thought why not put people on it too
Let me know what you guys think ,
do you have a favorite part ?
if you want to know how i do anything please dont be afraid to ask
I might even be able to do a demonstration video .. minus the voice , im not that brave yet hehe I hope you all enjoy it and have a great week and weekend

Great job, I love the sea.
But their poses still seem a bit stiff though. They don't really look like they want to fight, they look rather bored. But the design is great

they have just been in the rowwing boat for hours and hours so that is why they look bored and stiff

Vikings are always ready to fight, time an place don't matter.
If they were just fighting they wouldn't look that clean.
If they were on holiday, well then they wouldn't look that stiff, wouldn't they? They would look much more relaxed.

I think .. you are thinking about it too much ...
maybe they want you to think that they are stiff and unprepared for battle ... after all vikings are experts on ambush !!
they dont need to do a holywood pose to get ready for battle
Unless you think there not great fighters ? then ... they would have to stand ready for battle

I didn't mean to offend you, I just wantet to give you an advice for your next painting.
Having tension in the poses and a proper copmosition of the image affects the overall
impression of the picture. That's all.

as a last minute idea , it was not meant to be a serious ready for battle moment ,
and i didnt want to have a serious tension , just a quick idea thats all

Really great palette and contrasts! I actually am really drawn to the details in the sand, the pebbles, etc, looks like you could reach out and touch it. It is a great painting, Peter! You should be proud
