Thank you! The reason I have a problem with February is that I don't like the winter here at all. But December is ok to deal with because of all the christmas-lights and the still fresh memories of summer sun and autumn colors; but in January those things have faded and it's tougher, and in February it's all gone, and there's only cold, grey and dark.   And it's a deceptive month - it's only 28 days, but it feels like 280. But I saw spring flowers today, so I feel hopeful after all.

Have you ever tried looking at winter on the romantic side of things? You know, I live in Québec, here winter is also long, and alot of people don't like it. I feel it is important for people to get away from cities sometimes, go to the mountains and countryside to 'live' winter and see how beautiful it really is. It helps you forget about all the nasty side of winter in cities.

I grew up in the north of Sweden, and I've been told it's a lot like Canada there. The winter begins in October and lasts until April, and I think I knew already as a kid that it wasn't a climate for me, so I moved as far south as possible. But I still complain about the winter (and we hardly get any snow at all down here), so I guess it's time to find a warmer country to live in.
