The Water Lily (Nymphaea marliacea) is the national flower of Bangladesh. It is also the birth flower for July.Water-lilies are rooted in soil in bodies of water, with leaves and flowers floating on the water surface.

No filters, but a very nice lens: Tamron 90 mm F2.8. This one is my favorite lens and I use it quit a lot.
Further this photo was shot (as you can see) with a Canon EOS 350D which is a nice camera as well.
The photo was shot very close to the water which made the water very dark and gave it that blurred feeling.
