Description
More people suggested me to make laser gun so here it is. Concept of laser rifle. Objective was to make shine solid metal piece from the sci-fi future. It works with light beam not with projectiles and therefore there is no recoil. Instead of stock I use its place as handle.I uploaded more pictures of this project. There are pictures from various angles and sizes + wireframes of model in my gallery.
All work was done in 3ds max + vray as engine. Model is highpoly. Structures of model is visible in wireframe posted in my gallery.

hi. No reason to be worry about placing some critique on someboy's work. Mainly when he calls for it. I always take it positively. I know now, that scope doesnt make a sense. It is one of my older work. Today I would make it in another way. I dont repair my older work so it is visible how I have improved in time. Bye. PK.

Ok First off I love this design I must say. The look of this weapon is top notch, the texture and colors used work so well together it looks natural. You didn’t go over the top with a whole lot of stuff to make it look cool “Less is More” and this proves that. Originality? what can I say I have never seen anything like this and I want to know more, I love the scope it accents the gun instead of standing apart from it which seems to happen a lot in real life. The placement of the hand grip indicates no recall and light weight which is a must in high intense battle. No one likes lugging around a heavy weapon and a bruised shoulder after two mag’s. I would like to know what type of ammo you would use since it is A energy weapon and i see a mag is used with this design. Your technique has me in awe I would love to see how you came up with this from sketch to full color I honestly couldn't think of designing a weapon like this without actually seeing it beforehand I applaud you sir. Over all I would love to take this weapon and place in the hands of Master Chief or a Ranger in Battlefield better yet a Storm Trooper clearing the path for a Jedi would be even more awesome. Great job all around on this weapon sir

I love the rounded back to the grip, feels like it would move if you bent your wrist when firing from the hip. Beyond sleak!

Regardless of the recoil, a stock is needed. IMO, I think the weight is just poorly distributed, seeing how all the things are on the WAY front. You'd have a very awkward firing position.

And yeah, you'd have to trash the ring-thing around the grip. It's just awkward on the gun.

Nevertheless, you could always saw off the majority of the barrel and end up with a weird-looking hand cannon. No, that would be a worse idea...

I used to yes. but only paper while wathing TV. other that that I start with few boxes and just add more and more details.

really good looking gun although looks a bit uncomfy to hold and aim unless the shoulder support is extendable
