Hi tnx you for positive words. Profile of gun inluing handle I took from real russian rifle - VINTOREZ VSS. Just did it in modern style. And about angle of view. Time by time I try for unusual view just to prevent from ordinary one. view from side when gun is hang in the air...

Ahhh got it I'm not super familiar with guns so I wouldn't have guessed that. Yeah I understand where you're coming from I just found it a little difficult getting an idea of what it woudl look like being held by someone.

Peter, you do good work, and I have been watching you ever since I got here. Some things to look out for though. Look at some of the modern coatings used on ARs today, it will give you more variety and finishes. I like a more matte look for military weapons, or the use of camouflage. This weapon looks like it is based off of the VSS Vintorez sniper rifle, but you might want to look more into ergonomics for stock, grip, forestock and accessory placement. Weapons shouldn't be "one size fits all". Some tiny details are missing; indicators for power usage, safeties, sling attachments, magazine releases, and such. These add realism and "functionality". All in all though, a very good job. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

Yeah, there is a safety, and a mag release. Just wanted to point that out since you'reΒ critiquingΒ their work without looking it over fully.

Thanks, I just noticed the mag release and safety.Β I did look it over thoroughly, but since I do have poor vision, I passed both over.

Hi. Proportion I took from real russian rifle - VINTOREZ VSS. I know you are right about those details. I just have no time/nerves to finish work in 100 percent. I am ok if it holds together and render it to save a time. One point. that energy indicator about battery. It is nice touch and personally I like it becouse it bring a life to model but everytime I did something like that in the past then people pointed it out as a nonsense becouse it would make you visible from distance...

hi. actually I did barrel quite complicated but in this position it is not well visible. maybe in the future I will use it again in some other design.Β

I see you took inspiration from Russia's VSK/VSS/VAL weapon designs, which are 9x39mm armour piercing rifles designed to fire quietly yet still punch through body armor up to 300 meters, I love those weapons and this concept is really nice too.

Hi it means it is not usual rifle with barrel inside firing bullet. instead of normal mag socketed inside there is battery + internal mechanism is some kind of fictional mechanism projected pulse or some kind of energy.Β

great choice for building a sci-fi concept from a real rifle... this model looks pretty complete - nothing excess - as it was developed from the zero point = )
i guess, for example, the AK-47 sci-fi analog won't be so laconic (if you understand me) = )

I am looking at some ofΒ the lighting and the shading: the light seems soft, indoors. The weapons have a dull matte finish to reduce reflections - good. Many parts appear to be plastic or carefully wrapped in a plastic part - for ease, comfort, and grip. the weapons appear balanced with powerful recoil absorbers.
a sniper's assault rifle, with versatility. cool.
