Not entirely, the economy is reliant on bone fishing lodges and a small amount of tourism, but the inhabitants rely on fishing exports and the harvesting of crabs which are seasonal. Small businesses have a hard time due to the small population. There are no major food stores or fast food franchises and most people are reliant on the weekly mail boat for necessary imported goods.
