Description I've been sitting on this one for a while. I wasn't sure i even wanted to upload it but why not.
I had a movie marathon of every 'Nightmare on Elm Street' movie a few weeks ago before seeing the remake. This is what I ended up sketching as I watched.
Gotta love Freddy. He's the only movie maniac who actually has a personality.

I love this so much, and you're right. I'm such a big Freddy fan because he's not afraid to put some creativity in his killing. He even has fun with it, as seen in the skateboard scene from NOES part 5. Admittedly, I have all of the movies myself. I love the coloring and the shading here, it's awesome.

Thanks a lot! I completely agree with you too. My favorite was always the puppet kill in number 3. Freddy movies are always more fun because there's some thought put behind how he's taking people out, instead of the usual hack and slash stuff.

Ooh, the tendon thing makes me cringe every time. I think my favorite was the sudden betrayal at the end of 3 when he kills Nancy.

Ooooh thats a good one. Number 3 is probably one of my favorites! My other fav kills are the cockroach kill in #4 and the nails on chalkboard kill in 'Freddys Dead'. Now that I think about it there is at least one great kill in every movie

Yeah, but in almost every movie, he kills someone that I would have liked to have lived. I think it started with Grady in 2, Joey in 4, and Mark in 5. And 1, 3, and New Nightmare are my favorites. I think that's because Wes Craven directed them.

Your right but I think the best part of Freddy movies is that even though he's the bad guy you still root for him. When I rewatched the series a few months ago I found myself cheering him on the whole time.

Every time. I think it's because he's the only character in the movies with any character depth. And he's just plain fun.

well, aside with Chucky and Pinhead, I do agree, I love his personality as much as I love this picture of him.

Good call on Chucky and Pinhead. I don't think their as iconic as Freddy but they definitely have some personality.

Thanks, trust me they're just as Iconic as Freddy, Jason and Michael are but I will admit that I think Pinhead has lost some of his popularity but is still pretty iconic as well in the horror genre itself.

Pinhead lost some of his cred after the last two hellraiser movies. I still think he is an iconic character but i fear what will happen to him if they do a reboot of the series (which i hear their doing.) Just look at what they did to Jason, Freddy, Leatherface and Michael Myers.

True. But I read that Clive Barker wants to remake it so that's a good sign, he did create the character afterall so maybe he might keep Doug as Pinhead too.
