Biography:
He was a domestic model made specially for the 7 years old Kirimi Satou, only daughter of his creator, the scientist Masayuki Satou, who used all the technology and his knowledge at that time to make him.
He was made both physically and psychologically based in Kirimi's "ideal prince" image and, since she was terminally ill, also was meant to take care of her in her father's absence. Skilled at nursering and house keeping, Nari and his Little Master bounded really fast, like siblings (and almost like a father/daughter thing), and were inseparable.
But around her 8 years, Kirimi started to really be killed little by little by her disease and couldn't leave her bed anymore. Nari stayed there everyday with her and it was around those sad times that he gained a so-called "sister", a gynoid with his same physical appearance called Hisa, who took care of the house and the money, so that way Nari could focus 24/7 in his Little Master. Even his creator was in the house a lot more around that time, a thing he didn't used to do before. Eventually, when she was 9 years old and Nari was 3, Kirimi finally passed away and left everybody inconsolable.
Possessed by grief and sadness, Masayuki Satou decided that he would get rid of Nari, because it was just too painful to look at his late daughter's "most cherished toy" everyday. Nari agreed with that, not wanting to live in a world without Little Master, and actually wanting to die just like her, just like a human. And then, in a Winter morning, he was shut down.
He woke up at Wonderland with his sister, and for his surprise, just like he wished at those times, he was a human. He couldn't explain the phenomena, neither Hisa. The only thing he could understand is that there was something at his neck - a pendant he never saw before - and each time he saw it, he would feel like there was something very important being forgotten by him.

Gliese, a planet considered the "second Earth". Despite a day having 26h there and an artificial sun, pretty much everything else was just like the "first Earth". The remaining humans created sections which simulated entire countries, and the rules there were very strict and different inside each one of them. Each section had each own pattern of seasons and sometimes even their own calendar.
Sometimes there would be great tempests, naturally from the planet, but they would be usually contained, and overall it wasn't a bad place for humans to live. The only ones who could leave a section since they didn't needed to breath were robots, artificial intelligence that the humans constructed thanks to extreme technology and research to help at all different areas - from construction, management of entire corporations, to simple domestic robots, even pet robots. Technology was actually Gliese's strong point, and since today it's considered an icon when it comes to gadgets and general technologic advances. At Nari's time, robots and humans would co-exist peacefully.
Eventually robots (that would all have special ears and a special code at their eyes, so they wouldn't be mistaken for humans) would be just like the very people that constructed them; they would think like humans, feel like humans and start to rebel like humans to their orders. That made Gliese start a hunt against them, and today a S.A.I (Strong A.I.), which means androids and gynoids, is forbidden at all sections. Humans at the planet are relying again more in animals and Weak A.I.s.
