This is Serpent! My Sea/Rain hybrid. This is my first time drawing a dragon underwater, and I think it turned out good

Name- Serpent
Nickname- NA
Age- 9 (dragons are adults at the age of 8)
Job- Editor and reproducer of the Queens writing
Gender- Female (She/Her)

Abilities- Can breathe underwater, night vision, spit venom, eyes and bioluminescent spots change colour in accordance with her emotions, Animus.

Serpent lives off the coast of the Sea Kingdom. Her mother Tidepool and her stepfather Prince Mareel live in the Deep Palace, and she often goes to visit them. On the off-chance that she is not visiting her parents, Serpent is hanging out with her good friend and fellow hybrid Sol. Sol is the only other dragon that Serpent can trust to keep her secret safe- that she’s an Animus.

She first discovered her powers while writing in her room. She accidentally knocked over her ink vial, sending the contents spilling into the water and clouding her vision. She frustratedly wished that the ink was still inside the jar, and was surprised to see the ink return back into its container.

From that moment on she knew she could never tell anyone, and after reading up on the consequences of Animus magic, she quickly imprisoned the majority of her powers inside a stone. She worded the spell so that if the wearer was in dire need of the contained magic, it would all come rushing back. Serpent wears the stone as a pendent around her neck.

She currently works for Queen Coral as the editor and reproducer of her writing since Whirlpool bit the dust. She loves her job and wouldn’t change her life for anything.

Facts- Mareel is a glowing oceanic phenomenon in which large areas of water appear to glow brightly at night.

- Tidepool had a relationship with a Rainwing, Mata, (Mata Mata is an odd-looking Amazonian turtle) before Mareel. Mata left Tidepool before she layed her egg, and when she had Serpent she knew that Serpent needed a father-figure in her life. When she met and clicked with Mareel, Tidepool knew that he would be the right fit.

-Serpent is my one and only Animus OC. Give her a hand everyone! xD

-Yes, Sol is the same Sol who is Euclayptus’s OC
