There is an SJ Tucker song of which I am particularly fond:
I am a daughter of the glade
never tamed to mortal ken.
goat feet and striking yellow gaze
the sultry voice of the summer maze
I am the beast beneath fair skin
with but a song your love I'll win.
I decided to paint a picture of this beast. Gotta say I love how she turned out! I've been really pushing myself to get better at lighting and I think it shows.
Anyway, wandering in the woods is dangerous. Beware the faun who hunts alone.
Photoshop CS5, Wacom Intuos 4. Probably about twenty hours of work.
