Description
Monotype 1 of 6 I had to do for my printmaking class. XDThis was done by painting watercolors on plexiglass taht had a layer of gum arabic on it... then I dampened drawing paper and ran it through a press to have it print out.
My theme for this project was mythology, legend and folk talkes.
This is based off of a Native american legend called "Brother Raven steals the Sun"

Oooh, I like. The designs on him remind me of the totem poles of the Pacific Northwest.
Though, I just got thoroughly distracted by Wikipedia for something like a half an hour....ended up in Irish mythology somehow.

I always tune in to the History channel and surf Wikipedia on stuff from the shows there.
Which is how I came up with a LARGE chunk of the BWT story.... since a fair ammount's based on mythilogy and legend.
