I did. I've bought issues 1 to 4 and I'm waiting for the next two to come in. I oddly love the mini-stories of Scars a little better than the main story so far. Issue #3's Scars where the woman falls out of the helicopter and dies was very sad and Chance's failure in saving her really touched me.
I have two question though. First off, it's a question is something a couple of us Guerrero/Jackie Earle Haley fans have been very curious about: Issue #1 and #4 both have supremely scary Guerreros in a wifebeater. These are among my favourite pages of the story, but do you possibly know why it's a recurring thing? Is it a tribute to his Haley's Rorschach? Or is something about the character itself we haven't seen in the series? Second question, now that the Fox series has been given a second season, will the comics continue on?

I'm only up to episode 5 of the first season but I'm digging it so far.
I think they manage to establish him as quite scary in the tv series, constantly putting him in situations where he manages to use violence in new fun ways.
Oh cool the first six issues is a great prize, hopefully there'll be a trade soon as well.
Wildstorm has me on some new fun stuff already. Not Human Target unfortunately but as soon as I'm allowed to I'll post some pages. Thanks for all the kind words, brightened up my day!

Have you seen any of Haley's other films? Such as Little Children, Bad News Bears, Breaking Away, or the Nightmare remake? I recommend them.

No actually. I thought he was a really good choice for a nightmare remake but I've heard bad things about it

I saw the film opening weekend and I loved the film! I've seen it seven times to date (showing the film to others). This film was just classy! When was the last time you saw a classy horror, let alone a classy film in general? Next to Wes Craven's New Nightmare, the 2010 remake is the perfect Nightmare film. The story flows great, the acting is wonderful, the cinematography is gorgeous, the editing is nice, the dialogue is quite good. There's no sex, no nudity, the blood and gore is minimal, and the swearing is tasteful. They took subject matter that was vile, child abuse and molestation, and executed it with sophistication. It even have animal cruelty; animals never die in films and children are rarely ever in danger in films! Jackie Earle Haley's Freddy Krueger was chilling and orgasmic! I didn't know whether to be creeped out by him or turned on by him... The practical effects were excellent. The CGI was, unfortunately, unspectacular and were the only true flaw of the film, but I'm a animator, so I'm trained to see those things. Nonetheless, they were effective and that's what counts in the end. (Hollywood forgets that CGI should assist the film, not be bogged down by it.) The film, also, didn't hold back: It took risks and it was smart and classy! I loved that they used "what you see in your mind is far worse than what you see on screen" tactic and far more terrifying. There was nothing superfluous about the film. Definitely one of the best films (particularly for a remake) I've seen in a long, long time!

well see if you're going to recommend it SO highly I'm going to have to give it a shot. I really enjoyed New Nightmare but then I also enjoyed all the elm streets up to dream warriors even so maybe I'm not the best judge and frankly I love crappy horror movies as well.

I think the remake is something for true horror fans. If you're for blood, guts, gore, sex, and nudity, you won't find it here. The film reminds me of the gothic horrors of the 1950s, with Vincent Price, Peter Cushing, and Christopher Lee. It's atmosphere, suspense, emotions, drama, real-life situations, etc. You can read my entire Nightmare on Elm Street rant in the artist's comments here: [link]
Don't get me wrong, I love crappy horror films as well. The most recent crap-tastic horror was 2001 Maniacs; I liked that remake better than the original and it's sooooo politically incorrect. I'm sick of the political correctness that's everything nowadays, for example Cookie Monster can't eat cookies anymore. I'm sick of it. It was refreshing to see an incorrect, fun, self-aware film.

Great linework as usual. I would have kicked the writer for putting so many frames on that last page though...
