It's been quite a while since I've uploaded something - actually, for a few months I haven't visited deviantart at all. The reason of that was a huge art block which I struggled with the whole winter. Luckily, it seems to have passed - I'm back and I apologise for not answering any of the comments I received during last months, while I was absent.

Anyway, I've gotten a tablet, and I absolutely adore it, although I have much to learn about using it. This is the first piece I've done with it. The gentleman in the picture is Loki, the main villain in Thor comics & its film adaptation and the upcoming Avengers movie. He is trickster god of lies and all things mischievious - to put it short: he is absolutely awesome. After watching Thor movie I just couldn't resist drawing him (also, he is definitely the best thing in the whole movie - it's a shame that they didn't gave him more scenes and kept showing boringstupiddumbdull Thor's face)

His costume in the movie is completely different - he wears either an armor with a badass horned helmet or some kind of leather robes. However, I come up with my own design, without any reason really, I somehow just knew, from the very begining, that I wanted him to wear black and feathers.
