Chapter 3

[Middleton Hospital]

Ron had halfway fallen asleep before Kim finally woke up.
Ron still couldn’t believe what the doctors had told him about Kim’s “condition” and how he was going to explain it to KP.

“Ron…..is that you?” said Kim weakly.
“KP, your awake!” responds Ron who had started to worry that she might never wakeup.
“Man, I’m hungry.” answered Kim right after her enormous stomach made a “gurgle” sound.
“Yeah…..about that.” says Ron, “KP, I need to tell you something.”
Like waking up from a dream, Kim says, “Is it the baby.” Then to confirm if she was right, Kim reaches for her stomach. Only to find a large, soft, and round object blocking it. Upon looking down at her stomach, Kim remembers what happened.
“Ron, what’s wrong with our baby?” says Kim on the verge of tears.
“There’s nothing wrong with the babies KP.” answers Ron without realizing what he just said.
With a bit of shock in her voice, “Babies?!?”
Now realizing what he said, “Yeah, you see…it turns out we’re not going to be having one baby KP, but ten.”

“…..WHAT?!?” shouts Kim as she looks at her large stomach more closely to see if this could be real.
Realizing what she was doing, “KP, the doctors know what they’re talking about.”
“How is this possible?” thinks Kim as she realizes that she’s rubbing her belly AND enjoying it.
“Remember when you got hit by Drakkens duplicator machine.” says Ron, “I think that when it hit you, it actually hit the baby.”
“Then is the baby okay?” replies a worried Kim as she wraps her arms around her stomach ( just barely reaching all the way around)
“The “babies” are okay KP.” answers Ron, “The doctors did an ultrasound on you to make sure.”

Even though Kim now had 9 more babies to carry, she felt her maternal instincts kick in and didn’t care if she was going to have 20 babies because they were still Ron and hers children.
Now that Kim knew that the babies were okay and that this wasn’t a dream, Kim had a very important request she wanted to ask Ron.
“Since I’m going to be here a little longer, could you go to Bueno Nachos and pick me up something?” asks Kim while using the puppy eyes, “I don’t think I chance eating the hospital food.
“…Sure thing KP.” answers a relieved Ron.

[Kim and Ron’s House] 6 months later

Kim sat in her usual spot on the couch in front of the TV. Even though Kim had gained about 100 pounds, she still wasn’t very fat thanks to her high metabolism and that she was now feeding 9 babies instead of one. As for her stomach, it was now so big that she actually had to carry her stomach in both arms when she walked around the house. Of course, she didn’t have to do that much anymore, thanks to her training Ron how to fight. (which he still had trouble doing) Kim also had Rufus and a robot butler that Wade built to assist her around the house.

Ever since the accident with Drakkens duplicator, Kim and Ron’s life were starting to take shape. Now that Ron had started to become more of a man, the world wasn’t relying on Kim that much anymore. Kim and Ron now had their own large two story house, that had come free because Kim had helped out a construction group a few years back, to live and raise their family in. As for the marriage, Kim had decided to wait until after the birth to get married. Ron was now starting college to be a restaurant owner and Kim would be starting college in a few years as well.

As for the babies, they still didn’t know if they were boys or girls yet, (since the babies were duplicated, they all could only be boys or girls) and as for how she was going to give birth to them. The doctor had informed Kim that they were going to do a C-section. Now your probably wondering about what happened to some of Ron and Kim’s friends. Well Wade was now Ron’s technical support and had started creating new inventions for the world to use in his spare time which included the kimmunicator to replace cell phones and his own line of robot butlers. As for what happened to Bonnie, she ended up getting knocked up at the Senior Party and she still doesn’t know who the father is.

“Oh, Ron should be home soon, better start ordering some dinner.” says Kim as she gets up off the couch, while holding her gigantic stomach, she makes her way to the phone in the kitchen.
“I hope that Ron doesn’t mind if I order takeout again.” thinks Kim before a smile spreads across her face.
“Well, this is our future.” says Kim as she rubs her starving stomach and dials the number for the chinese takeout.
