Lyra had always known that her life was different from the other young girls in her village. She was born with the gift of magic, and her parents had sent her to study with the best sorcerers in the land. When Princess Elvina asked her to join her on a mission to fight against the dark forces, Lyra didn't hesitate to say yes.
But as the days went by, Lyra's happiness was tempered with a growing sense of unease.
