If My Little Ponies were 'real' horses instead of cute little cartoony things, Rainbow Dash would be a flying Thoroughbred because those things literally do not have an 'Off' switch.Also it turns out I can't draw in MLP style for crap so here have a horse or something.
ANYWAY, was just doodling last night and came up with this!

(I suddenly realize I have never actually uploaded any pony fanart before. HOW SILLY OF ME. So I will say it now: in addition to Silent Hill and morbid original creations with animal skull faces, I also love adorable technicolor ponies. FIGHT ME.)
(also hey remember when I could draw wings. I miss those days.)

Aside from the Pokemon I guess this certainly IS pretty much a sudden ray of sunshine in your otherwise dark and morbid (but AMAZING) gallery. XDD
I'll admit I do enjoy watching the show and I'm liking the characters outside the main 6. And from what I could see, the peeps in charge of the show LOVE their fans and LISTEN to them. I wouldn't call myself a brony or a pegasister, but I certainly am a fan. 
What's also a bit heartwarming is that Lauren Faust's ideas for some of the episodes came from her childhood when she made up adventure stories with her MLP toys. <=]
I say this surpasses the doodle category, marvelous work as always! Maybe if I stare at it long enough, I'll learn to draw better. ;u;

They adore their fanbase and are just generally a lot of incredibly talented, very nice people. That's definitely a big part of what makes the show fun.

Haha, it's no problem. I just wasn't sure why someone who hated something would comment on a random fan's art of that something and then badmouth it at the same time. I figured I should clarify that I do in fact like My Little Pony, which is why I occasionally draw fanart for it.

I didn't at first, but then I watched the show and saw how well it was animated. In hindsight, pretty much all the MLP cartoon styles have been varying shades of hideous and this is the one that I like best. So no complaints from me!
But that said, yes, I would KILL for a My Little Pony animated in the style of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. Because dude... epic.

Well, I've always kinda liked MLP, and so have a lot of other people. So when a well-written and well-animated revival started up, it got a LOT of fans. At least that's my understanding. It's not for everybody, obviously, but it's not that surprising that it got a pretty big fanbase.

Wings look pretty good to me, but if you're ever stuck when trying to compile the feathers, I've found this diagram to be pretty useful on occasion.

The legs look sort of wonky but i can't complain since this is WAY above average for pony art

Horse legs are probably the hardest legs in the animal kingdom to draw-- I've never quite gotten the hang of them. XD
But thank you! The anatomy of the wings is a bit wonky compared to what I'd prefer, but I suppose for a MLP picture they look all right.
