The beautiful waters of the bahamas.:UPDATE:
ok I cropped out a bit of the sky, saturated the colors a bit more and adjusted the brightness. Also added a border.
What do you guys think?
Couldn't figure out how to "fix" the left side at the horizon line. It's still fuzzy lookin to me..

I am quite happy with how this came out but I would love to hear a critique or two on how I can improve it.Mainly I'm concerned about the sky. Since the focus is on the water, should I crop out more of the sky? or maybe if I brighten it up a bit. I am still learning PS so any tips would be appreciated.

For me, I think this image is perfect. I realize that the left side of the horizon line looks slightly fuzzier, but that's completely fine - it's bound to happen when the light is more on the other side of the shot.

I like the amount of the sky. It adds a different texture to the photograph.
Here's an odd thought: The colours in your photo would make a gorgeous quilt. I'm going to fave your pic so that I can use the colours as reference someday for a quilt.

Being a wide angle shot, maybe try making the border width different for the top/bottom compared to the sides. Try it, but if you prefer the way it is, this looks good also

Focus is ok,and the colours are lovely,

I think the fact that the sky is a grey-blue makes the eye attracted to the sea much more. It works just fine as is!

Hi there, first I wanna say this is a very nice photo overall with some killer colors, and the water is beautiful. Now on to critiquing. Although the colors are very nice as is, I think they would have a better impact if they were more saturated. But not overwhelmingly so... it's a fine balance. Another thing to consider is the sky, what you asked about. It is a bit dark, an easy fix with brightness/contrast. Love the focus by the way. Great shot overall.

This is a really beautiful piece. I don't feel a focus on the water, but at the same time I don't feel the focus being on the sky. It is a nice balance between the two natural elements. I would not really think it would benifit from change, but maybe if you want a stronger focus on the water try to capture the water in a moment of action or from a slightly different angle.

I think the sky is a little too dark - in contrast to the very bright blue water in the foreground.
I like the photo in general, the green line surrounding the lagune (is it that?

I think this photo has amazing colors and interesting lines. I just read that when shooting landscapes the horizon usually works best when it falls on a third line in the photo... so in this case, I'd crop a chunk (helpful, huh?) of the sky so it's not competing with the water for my attention.

okay, I really like this picture, too, itΒ΄s well balanced as many already have said, so I canΒ΄t really add anything here, the colour are pretty and the contrast is fine, too.
So about your cutting the pic down:
If you do that, only cut a lil bit from the top if you want to, but not too much, because if the balance between sky and water gets off itΒ΄ll have a negative inpact, so mabye a few pixel less might improve it a bit, but this has to be done very carefully.
