Very much so. He's probably the only bad guy who scares me senseless and I still want to glomp him at the same time. Especially after reading Magic Rat's stories.
Granted, said stories have also resulted in me repeatedly calling Sephiroth "Baby" and getting some really odd looks from my friends for it.

Definitely, and that's a not a good mindset to have when you're playing Crisis Core. I swear there's a scene in that game where Sephiroth's actually giving Zack the 'why do I love you?' look. My friend actually had to take away my PSP because I was having a giggle fit.
.....And now he's kicking my ass...
-_-;; She needs to update Manor House... and I need to watch Metalocalypse....

lol. I'll have to look for that now. ^_^ Gonna replay the game anyway just because I can. Pick out every slashable moment in the game and drive the poor boy who loaned me the game crazy with it.
Definitely gotta find it somewhere.... geh, too much to do/see/watch/write. *flails*

I think that's the dilemma of all of our... species? That's what my brother calls us, at least, the Authoress species.
A subspecies of the genus "fangirl", the authoress is a very rare breed who suffers varying levels of ADD/ADHD and odd obsessive behaviors commonly involving strange characters from tv series/games/movies/books that often result in random, absurd, and hilarious situations including but not limited to morning after nightmares, men becoming pregnant, incessant bouts of extremely sweet, adorable, or otherwise "fluffy" moments, vampires, and bishonen. These moments are then written down in the forms of stories and shared with others of the species. These creatures are often quiet and shy around others, preferring solitude to the company of the baseline human, but when gathered in groups of their own kind are known for their loud and high pitched form of communication known as "squee-ing". The species divides into hundreds of different subspecies depending on their region or "fandom" and likes/dislikes and form tribes or packs accordingly. The subject of this researcher's essay happens to be a member of the subspecies classified as "FFVII" and seems content to be a figurative lone wolf among her kind.
Authoresses are also known to form symbiotic relationships to a cousin species known as the Artist and the much rarer but much sought after Author species. Stolen from a biology essay my brother wrote freshman year.
