I finally stopped uploading Bitmaps. They take soooo looong to upload. D:

Been meaning to do this for a while, ever since that ep where Shikamaru was messing with his shogi.
The irony is, for those of you who don't read kanji, which do you think the 'Bishop' (or shogi equivalent, anyway) is?
Answer: Kakuzu. XD
They replaced the second characters on their pieces with the second ones from their names. :3

I actually like how my scanner changed the colours on this one. I felt the board was a bit dull compared to the tatami mats, and it dulled them down and brightened up the board for me. ^_^ couldn't get rid of my colouring outside the lines though. XD I don't know WHAT happened to that pawn on the left.
