Description
First of all, I must say that this painting has gone through many changes... First, the girl (Christine) started out as a mermaid, then she became Sleeping Beauty, and then she became Christine Daae from The Phantom of the Opera. I threw Erik in the mix for good measure. This painting took me a long time to complete (three years) because of how indecisive I was, but I'm very pleased with the outcome. One minor drawback is that, according to my boyfriend, Erik looks like Tuxedo Mask (sp?) from Sailor Moon. I hope that's not the first thing people think when they look at this.I hope you like this! Please tell me what you think!

I don't think Erik looks like Tuxedo Mask. His hat may be the same type, but Tuxedo Mask wears a small, white domino type mask. Not to mention the very anime style of art that's used to draw him.
